In Detail: Emma Louise

Limited Edition polishes were never a planned thing here at Pretty Serious. There will always be those special occasions though where the rules will end up broken, and in this case it was the 30th birthday of our friend Emma.

Given that Kaz and Emma became sisters through their mutual love of polish (they've worked their way up to twins now apparently!), there was no better way to commemorate a milestone birthday such as this one than to let Emma loose in the Pretty Serious labs and create one of her very own.

Since we didn't want to give her a gift that we actually profited from, the decision was made to limit the amount made to 300 for her 30th, the profits given to a charity of her choice, and we will buy the first ten bottles ourselves to give to her. Emma chose to donate the profits to Cancer Council Australia, though due to time constraints and a lack of the right people available to talk to, we don't yet have permission to go sticking their logo anywhere near our imagery yet. That is most definitely where the money will go though.

Each bottle also will be individually numbered!

We ourselves are not a fan of Australian shipping rates, so we thought we'd bundle in the release of this polish to coincide with Monster Mash so that it's an easier addition to the shopping cart.

So what exactly is the Emma Louise? Going to have to throw it to Kaz for that one!

"Emma Louise is a vibrant violet jelly base with golden green glass fleck, purple micro-glitter, and purple and green hex glitter." - Kaz

Swatches speak louder than words!

This swatch was taken under a day lamp.

The following two shots were taken in natural sunlight.

Emma Louise will be available for all on October 10th!
